Rise ‘n’ Run! 2.0, A successful event!

Hi Everyone!

Sunday, 7th of July 2013 is the day that Rise ‘n’ Run! 2.0 was held. The event turned out successfully with the presence of the Deputy Minister of Education II, YB P. Kamalanathan a/l P. Panchanathan to flag off the runners. The flag off session took place at the Sekolah Sri Bestari Secondary School field at around 7.45am.

I, as the Leader of the Rise ‘n’ Run! 2.0 Social Unit, would like to extend many thanks on behalf of the Rise ‘n’ Run! 2.0 Committee to all who have supported us by taking part in this charity run. Your participation in this run was highly appreciated. To all the sponsors, thank you for sponsoring us in whatever possible way you guys could. It helped us a lot. To all the Sekolah Sri Bestari Secondary Teachers, thank you for all the support and help all of you could provide us and I would like to apologise on behalf of the Rise ‘n’ Run! 2.0 Committee if any confusion, arguments or unnecessary stress occurred during the preparation of this big event. Thank you teachers!

Lastly, I personally would also like to wish congratulations to the Rise ‘n’ Run! 2.0 Committee for making this event a wonderful success.

Please be informed that the registration for Rise ‘n’ Run! 2.0 has been closed with immediate effect from today (15/6/2013) at 0000 hours. Thank you to the participants who have successfully registered to join this charity run event. We will update you from time to time via email if there is any new information or news regarding this event from now onwards. However, this website will still remain and will be updated as well. To those who did not manage to register on time, we are very sorry as we will not be able to entertain your request due to certain reasons. We hope you understand.

Hello Everyone!

Just to announce here that the Rise ‘n’ Run 2.0 Committee have decided to introduce an award for the most participating school which means the school that has the most number of its students registered to take part in Rise ‘n’ Run 2.0. We have the statistics for the top 3 schools which have the highest number of their students who have registered to take part in Rise ‘n’ Run 2.0. The statistics so far (last updated: 15/6/2013) are shown below:

  • 1. Sri KDU International; 25 students
  • 2. SMK St. Mary; 6 students
  • 3. SMK Bandar Sri Damansara I ; 6 students

These statistics will be updated from time to time should there be any increase or decrease in number of schools/students participating.

IMPORTANT NOTICE (UPDATED): MONDAY, 20/5/2013;

Hello Everyone!

I have an important announcement to make on behalf of the Rise ‘n’ Run 2.0 Committee. It is about an update regarding the ways of making payment to join Rise ‘n’ Run 2.0;

We fully understand that some of you are busy and might not have the time to come to our school (Sekolah Sri Bestari) to pass the registration form and make the payment for the Rise ‘n’ Run 2.0 entry fee. Therefore, the Rise ‘n’ Run 2.0 Committee have decided to include another form of payment that is by banking in the money directly to our bank account. To do so, you’ll first have to scan and submit the registration form via email to our email address (risenrun@outlook.com) and notify us in the email that you would like to make payment via banking in the money directly to our bank account. Once we’ve processed your registration form, we will send you our bank account number via email for you to make the necessary payment. After making payment, please do send us a scanned copy via email of the receipt for our reference.

Rise ‘n’ Run 2.0

Hi!

As you may be aware of, students of Sekolah Sri Bestari have decided to organise another Rise ‘n’ Run event. This time, it’s called Rise ‘n’ Run 2.0. It is the second run organised by Sekolah Sri Bestari, therefore, it will definitely be better than the first Rise ‘n’ Run event. Rise ‘n’ Run is a charity event. By conducting this event, we hope to cultivate a healthy lifestyle by running, and at the same time, collecting funds for NGOs to ease them in helping to save our environment and help unfortunate people.
